Rapper Bow Wow on American Morning CNN
Bow Wow talks with American Morning’s Kiran Chetry about his newest adventure the “Walk Across America” in which he is trying to bring awareness and get the young people out to vote. The goal is to attract those between the ages of 18 and 25.

“I’m a first time voter myself, so it feels good to share this with my peers,” Bow Wow who’s now 21 years-old stated.

The rapper talks about when he was 18 and did not understand the true aspects of voting at that time. He also talks about how he can relate with those in his age range and how his thoughts about voting changed after watching the news and getting involved.

Starting in Atlanta, GA on October 1st, Walk Across America will be traveling by foot and bus through several cities such as Philadelphia, PA, Washington, D.C. and New York City making stops at various locations including colleges, universities and radio stations. During the 15 city voter’s drive, Declare Yourself and Black Youth Vote will be assisting with the voter registrations.

In other news, Bow Wow is currently putting the final touches on his 6th album, New Jack City, Pt. II, which is expected to release in December. The rapper’s latest movie in which he co-stars in alongside Forest Whitaker, “Hurricane Season,” will be releasing in theaters on Christmas. Bow Wow fans can also catch the rapper now acting on “Entourage” on HBO playing the character of the stand-up comedian, Charlie.
