In a interview with rapper Jacki-O, the seductive hip hop artist and sexual lyric dropping rapper / business woman talks about sex, Remi Ma, Barack Obama, her upcoming projects and more.
“I just love (you know) being a sexy person, if I wasn’t rapping I would be a sexy person,” Jacki-O said in her interview with ThisIs50. “I’m confident in my skin. I’m confident with myself, alot of women ain’t like that, you know, so they kinda of beat up on the women that are confident in themselves talking about sex… I have alot of records talking about sex however people that like listening to it, they just gravitate toward it.”
Jacki-O also went on how she feels about female rap artists not getting back what the male rap artists are getting back in the rap entertainment industry or expecting to get back when some of them (the female rappers) have “more grind” than alot of the male rap artists.
“Me, and Remy, and Nikki, Kim… it’s alot of female artists that have more humbleness, more work ethics, has more grind than alot of these dudes,” stated Jacki-O. “It’s sad that we ain’t, you know, out there like you see alot of guys.. not to take anything from the guys but alot of guys (you know) they sit and they wait for the ladies to do everything for ‘em..”
Jacki-O also speaks about her work with Remy Ma and how she respects Remy Ma’s “grind” and “work ethics.”
“We as females I seen it myself working with Remy, she is just as passionate about the music as I am.. she gets out there, she put her mixtapes out there, she grinds, she go to interviews, she do this she do that,” Jacki-O said of her rap counterpart. “I see alot of females do that and I see alot of guys just sit back and they just wait on a label to cut ‘em a check or not even a check, just a everyday ‘take care of a n-gga type thing’ and it’s crazy..,” she added.
She also addressed how she feels about having a black president.
“When I see something like that happen I know that there’s hope,” Jacki-O said regarding having Barack Obama as president.
Coming to the end of the interview, Jacki-O spits a freetyle for the camera.
“The game will swallow you then spit you out / In the belly of the beast then sh-t you out,” she rapped within a few lines into the freestyle rap.
