Hip hop music producer Timbaland born Timothy Mosley has gotten into the video gaming business and landed a deal to help in the creation of a beat-making video game after partnering with Rockstar Games/Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) the makers of Grand Theft Auto.

The game dubbed “Beaterator,” is called a powerful portable music mixer with robust beatmaking features and a highly-addictive collection of rhythm game

Timbaland has been brought on to present Beaterator for the PSP system. The game will be developed by Rockstar Leeds and is expected to be available this Summer.

In other news, Timbaland is reportedly working along side The X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke for her debut album.

    That’s going to be crazy. I’ve been saying Rockstar should make a “Rapstar” game, I guess this is the first step with this beat making game.
