Rick Ross - Deeper Than Rap
Rapper Rick Ross who has been beefing with 50 Cent for the past several months and who has had everyone awaiting to see the come out of his album sales, has proved that he really does have some loyal fans.

The rapper managed to push 158,000 for his latest album “Deeper Than Rap,” which released on April 21st, falling a few thousand short of his previous album sales such as his 2008’s “Trilla,” which sold 198,000 while his 2006’s “Port of Miami” sold 187,000, all which managed to make it to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

Rick Ross’ album “Deeper Than Rap” has kicked Disney Star Miley Cyrus best known as Hannah Montana down to the No. 2 spot with Depeche Mode sitting at No. 3.

As for other artists who made it on the charts, newcomer Asher Roth, who is being compared to Eminen and who everyone was expecting more from, is on aisle 4 with his “Asleep In The Bread Aisle” after selling 67,000 copies. Many are stating although Roth received double the marketing of some artists who used half his budget, the weak sales may have came due to his “hanging with nappy headed hoes” joke on Twitter while at Rutgers on last week.

Meanwhile, Jadakiss’ “The Last Kiss” slipped into the No. 10 spot after falling down four spots, Day26’s “Forever In A Day” fell from No. 2 to No. 9, Keri Hilson’s “In A Perfect World…” dropped from No. 12 to No. 17 and Beyonce Knowles’ “I Am… Sasha Fierce” moved up one spot from No. 20 to No. 19.

Now everyone is awaiting the release of 50 Cent’s album “Before I Self Destruct” scheduled for June, which will be released after rapper Eminem’s album “Relapse” which is set to release May 19, 2009.
