Hip Hop artist Lloyd Banks who has been amongst controversy and rumors is now a free agent and is no longer signed to Interscope Records.

Though Banks born Christopher Charles Lloyd, 27, is now an independent artist, no longer under the major umbrella of Interscope, he is still G-Unit as the rapper is also a co-founder of the brand.

Banks who has been amongst rumors of gay porn phantomed by the release of an alleged video claiming to be Lloyd Banks leaking on the Internet which was refueled later by G-Unit’s beef with rival rapper Rick Ross and more, claims now he’s a brand new engine prepping for a brand new run without being in the aura of Interscope. Llyod Banks claims that very aura sometimes was a handicap in particularly with DJ Funk Master Flex who was boycotting Interscope from the radio reportedly due to discrepancy with one of the Interscope label executives.

“I was ready to make a move,” stated Lloyd Banks regarding leaving the home of Interscope in a statement via VH1. “I’m a brand-new engine. If anything, it’s their loss. It’s been a dark shadow cast upon that. That’s why you hear [Funk Master] Flex on the radio [boycotting Interscope], because it’s an aura created around that machine, and the artists automatically get smacked in the head.”

Currently Lloyd Banks is prepping for a new album “The Famine” which he states will feature collaborations with Polow Da Don, Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze.

In related news, Lloyd Banks is looking to have his own reality TV show somewhat similar to the reality television show “For the Love of Ray J.”
