In promotion of Terminator Salvation, hip hop artist Common real name Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr., 37, sat down with entertainment talk show host Jimmy Kimmel of the Jimmy Kimmel Live television show and talked about Barack Obama, Mr. T., love for making movies, and more.
In the blockbuster movie “Terminator Salvation,” the fourth film in the series of Terminator films, Common plays a resistance soldier and the right hand man for John Connor (Christian Bale) named Barnes.
“Terminator Salvation” pulled in a reported $53.8 million over the holiday weekend which fell short of beating out the entertainment flick “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” starring Ben Stiller which raked in $70 million.
In related news, Common portrayed the character Dow Jones in a comedy spoof for comedy website Funny or Die.
