Picture of Mark Wahlberg and soccer player David Beckham
Actor and former rap artist Mark Wahlberg seems to be a little upset with soccer player David Beckham after he moved into his neighborhood. According to reports, Mark Wahlberg says that his once quiet neighborhood has become disturbed with a flock of photographers hanging out day and night.

Mark Wahlberg is quoted as saying that it use to be quiet on his road and now they [paparazzi] follow any car that drives down the road.

The famed actor is now questioning why is David Beckham wasting his time coming to the US by adding that American’s aren’t going to buy into the idea of 90 minutes watching running around without much happening. Instead, American’s will stick to baseball and basketball.

Many may beg to differ with Mark Wahlberg since soccer is now becoming another outlet and popular among kids and young adults. Yes, it may not be one of the major sports in the country, but it’s gaining notoriety. There’s even a Fox Soccer Channel to enjoy it on. With a few changes to the game, who knows what could become of it.

As far as for the paparazzi, hopefully something legally can be done about interfering with the traffic flow of the neighborhood and disturbance to those paying those hefty mortgages.

In other news, Mark Wahlberg has at least three films in post-production which include “The Lovely Bones,” “Date Night,” and “The Fighter.”

In addition to the three in post-production, Mark Wahlberg formerly known as rapper Marky-Mark is filming “The Other Guys” which is an action/comedy film directed and co-written by Adam McKay. The movie stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans Jr., Rob Riggle and Derek Jeter. The movie “The Other Guys” is expected to release August 6, 2010.

Marky should just be happy there’s a reason for paparazzi to be on his street at all—his films sure aren’t good enough to warrant our attention.

Maybe he should go back to Boston or wherever to watch his precious baseball (clearly the worst of the “Big Three” sports in the US). His comments don’t warrant much merit because he implies that basketball and baseball are superior to American Football–the sport that takes the popularity of basketball and baseball combined and multiplies it by a factor of ten! Neither of those sports compares to American Football.

    What an idiot!

If you don’t like soccer, don’t watch it. Leave us alone and we’ll leave you alone. It’s already easy to forget about you because your films are such crap.

Okay this is really really old news.
