Word is that rapper T.I., who was released from federal prison on last week to report to a halfway house, is back already in the recording studio. T.I. was released from low-security federal prison in Forrest City, Arkansas on Tuesday, December 22 after serving time on federal gun charges. Now, the rapper may already be back to business — music business, that is.

According to a post on website Global Grind, music executive Kevin Liles may have possibly tweeted about the news of T.I. returning to the studio.

“My right hand went home to visit his family & found his way to the studio. He said “why wait for 2010, get it in now” Love the attitude!” Liles tweeted but later removed from his Twitter blog.

Whether or not he was twittering about T.I. is left up to speculation?

Though the hip hop proclaimed “King of the South” is completing the remainder of his sentence at Dismas Charities Atlanta West in Georgia, he is reportedly allowed to work at the offices of his Grand Hustle label during the day, as reported last week on www.HipHopRX.com. Another hint that he may be back to work - recording in the studio.

T.I. must also complete 500 hours of community service and serve 23 days of house arrest following his sentence at Dismas Charities Atlanta West in Georgia.
