Soulja Boy Tellem’ has been sentenced to 12 months probation by a Georgia judge following an October 2009 incident in where he and other’s apparently evaded police.

In October 2009, rapper Soulja Boy Tellem’ along with some friends were hanging out at an abandoned home in McDonough, Georgia around the time of the taping of the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com. The group along with Soulja Boy fled when neighbors called police to complain about the group and the ruckus they were causing. Soulja Boy was charged with Obstruction and later released on bond.

Soulja Boy was recently found guilty on a lesser charge of evading police and was sentenced to 12 months on probation and $1,000 fine following the incident.

What’s the deal with rappers and police?!
