‘As The World Turns’ Actress Helen Wagner ‘Nancy Hughes’ Dead At 91

‘As the World Turns’ star, Helen Wagner, who played ‘Nancy Hughes’ in the soap opera for almost a half a century has died at the age of 91.
Helen Wagner died in her home in Texas on Saturday, May 2, but the cause of death is not known at this time. She currently holds the world record for playing the same role on television for the longest time.
“Helen will always remain the heart and soul of As the World Turns,” said executive producer Christopher Goutman.
Helen Wagner was married to Broadway producer Robert Willey until he died in 2009.
