The music promoter that was accused of killing Atlanta rapper Dolla last year at a Los Angeles shopping mall has been acquitted by a jury.

Music promoter Aubrey Berry, 23, from Atlanta, Georgia, has been found not guilty in all charges in the case against him regarding the shooting death of rapper Dolla.

Dolla, who’s real name is Roderick Anthony Burton II, was shot four times outside L.A.’s Beverly Center mall last May, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com. He died later that day.

Dolla and Aubrey Louis Berry, had been involved in a fight at an Atlanta club less than two weeks before the shooting. On the day of the shooting, Aubrey was arrested while on his way to LAX Airport and was charged with murder and two counts of assault. When police went to apprehend the alleged shooter, he lifted up his arms and shouted to authorities that he had a 9MM on his waist line.

He pleaded not guilty to the murder and remained in custody on a $5 million bond.

Aubrey is now a free man, acquitted on all charges.
