Rapper Rick Ross recently saluted Larry Hoover at a performance of the song ‘BMF’ and had a run-in with Larry Hoover Jr, son of Larry Hoover, the incarcerated leader of the Gangster Disciples.

Rick Ross has paid tribute to the black gang members Larry Hoover and Big Meech in his “BMF” song already, but also is doing so in his promotional stops such as one caught of tape of the rapper at a recent promotional event for his album Teflon Don, in Chicago.

“I want to salute Chicago, before this, I want to salute Mr. Larry Hoover, I want to salute Big Meech,” Rick Ross started before going into his new hip hop music single “BMF” with the chorus “I think I’m Big Meech/Larry Hoover/Whippin’ work/Hallelujah/One nation under God/Real n*ggas getting money..”

Apparently there was a rumor that Larry Hoover Jr walked into an in-store promotion where Rick Ross was to “check” the rapper, reports AllHipHop.com, but the rumor was slammed after pictures of the two surfaced.

Ross’ forthcoming studio album, Teflon Don is slated for release next week, July 20.
