Kandi is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who resides in Atlanta
with her seven-year-old daughter Riley. She is a former member of the platinum-selling musical group Xscape, and won a Grammy Award for her work on TLC’s mega hit “No Scrubs.” Kandi juggles her busy life as a single mom and hard working career woman, but also finds time to let loose on the Atlanta social scene, stepping out with members of the music industry’s elite.
Kandi’s world was turned upside down last year with the death of her former fiancé. Working to rebuild, Kandi is starting to date again and is back in touch with her father who she learns is sick with cancer. After her Capitol Records deal fell through last year, Kandi has signed with a new label and is putting together a new album with songs heavily inspired by AJ. Ever the survivor, Kandi moves forward building a solo career, a love life, and developing a friendship with the other housewives, particularly Kim.
