Leslie Nielsen the star actor of the very popular parody movies ‘The Naked Gun’ and ‘Airplane!’ died on yesterday at 84 after complications of Pneumonia, but his memory as one of fans’ favorite parody actors will live on.
The Naked Gun and Airplane! star actor Leslie Nielsen who’s probably going to be most remembered as Lt. Frank Drebin in The Naked Gun film series, is dead, after passing away in his sleep, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com.
The 84 years old Leslie Nielsen was reportedly admitted to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida hospital for pneumonia in November, but as of 4:30 p.m. CST, Sunday, November 28, passed away surrounded by family and friends.
The movie actor also played roles in the Scary movie series – Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4 – as well as Soul Man and countless other movie parodies, however no one will forget Leslie Nielsen as Lt. Frank Drebin of The Naked Gun as that was his comedic breakthrough and signature movie.
