Dr Dre has been having his fans on pins and needles as they wonder if the release of his forthcoming album Detox will get the chance to see daylight. Just to get fans excited, Dr Dre is detoxifying the music scene with his new music video ‘Kush’ featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon on today. The release of the music video follows after the unmastered song was leaked on last month.
The video ‘Kush’ was directed by Jospeh Kahn who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Eminem, Ciara, Chris Brown, Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa and others.
As for the album, Detox will include a variety of celebrity guest music artists as well as new comers which include Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Akon, Jay-Z, La Roux, Game, Slim da Mobster, and Liz Rodriguez, as confirmed by Dr Dre.
Dr Dre’s Detox album is slated for release in February of 2011 and is reported to be his last and final album.
