Nicki Minaj Dumps Boyfriend Safaree Following Assault and Verbal Abuse Incidents? (AUDIO, PHOTOS)

Female hip hop/pop artist Nicki Minaj, 28, has allegedly dropped her hype man Safaree Samuels who is also rumored to be her boyfriend following allegedly getting assaulted on last month at a hotel and later verbally abused during a Cosmo photo shoot. The celebrity music star first tried to deny that an altercation took place, but it was later revealed via a 911 recording that the hotel manager at Hotel Palomar had placed a call while standing at the room and a woman believed to be Nicki Minaj could be heard screaming at Samuels, “What you hit me for? What you hit me for?”

A man believed to be Samuels can be heard screaming at the manager to get off his phone, but the manager didn’t comply, instead he left the phone on the entire time and recorded a majority of the incident as they apparently argued about “luggage.”

Later a man can be heard telling the 911 operator that it was Nicki Minaj and her crew, and that some man had hit her, but he didn’t know the man’s name.

As for the Cosmo photo shoot which happened late last month, staffers stated they were scared for the star after both Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels asked everyone to leave out as they argued.

Now as things unravel, according to gossip website MediaTakeout, Nicki Minaj is stated to have officially relieved Safaree from his duties for the tour and also called it quits. Nicki Minaj reportedly didn’t do it herself, but instead called on her security who delivered her message and asked him to vacate.

It seems like Safaree Samuels isn’t too bothered about what Nicki Minaj has to say because he’s staying at her condo, inviting women over and allegedly is refusing to leave. Maybe Nicki Minaj has a heart, one would presume, and assumes that he doesn’t have anywhere to go for the meanwhile… you know it’s “Hard Out Here For A Hype man.”
