Rihanna Will Star in DreamWorks Movie “Happy Smekday!”

Rihanna will be starring in DreamWorks animation film “Happy Smekday!”

Happy Smekday! is based on Adam Rex’s book “The True Meaning of Smekday” and the R&B singer took a role in the film.

Rihanna will be lending her voice to the film alongside with Jim Parsons, The Big Bang Theory star. Director Tim Johnson, Antz, Over the Hedge, hopes the movie will be released in 2014.

The film is about an alien race that comes to invade Earth to hide from their enemy, while one alien back stabs his own people and tells their enemies about their whereabouts.

Rihanna was recently starred in the action packed movie, Battleship and has been offered roles from left to right. Rihanna recently spoke with MTV News and said, “I got a few scripts, actually, a lot of incredible roles. Some of which I felt were a little too big for me, being that I never did a movie. So I wanted to really get my feet wet, try it, see what it was like and know how I wanted to move from there. I’m really glad ‘Battleship’ turned out to be the first one.”

She will be in a comedy film directed by Seth Rogen called “End of the World.” While rumors have been building up about Rihanna appearing in the next Fast and the Furious movie, she cleared it up by saying, “I don’t have time to appear in the Fast and the Furious movie, since I’ll be playing Whitney Houston in a biopic of her life.”
