A 25-year-old man was arrested on the 4th of July who is believed to be connected with the shooting that took three lives.
Recording artist Trae Tha Truth was lucky enough to have survived the shooting last month outside of a strip club. However, three people were fatally wounded, while Trae and another suffered injuries.
Police have arrested 25-year-old Feanyichi Uvukansi in connection with the shooting. According to khou.com, he has told loved ones that he is surprised to be a suspect, despite a criminal record including drug and assault charges.
Coy “Poppa C” Thompson, 23, Erica Rochelle Dotson, 30, and Carlos Durell Dorsey, 31, were killed in the shooting, which occurred after a performance by Trae.
Police say Poppa C was involved in a domestic dispute on June 17, 2012, and believe others were shot in gunfire intended for Thompson.
Uvukansi is currently being held without bond.
