Gunplay was in prison for a robbery at a tax business that he was connected to.
Earlier today Gunplay was released on a $150,000 bond and is on house arrest. The police stated that the connection with the robbery was that Gunplay stole from a man at a Miami, Florida tax business.
NBC News reported this morning that the Maybach Music Group rapper is already out of prison and is now facing charges. The charges he’ll be faced with are second degree aggravated assault with a firearm and armed robbery.
“The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community,β said Gunplay’s attorney Michael Grieco. βHe should be home with his family shortly. This is first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career.β
On April 13th Gunplay was arrested after he stole a gold chain and a cell phone from a man. It was also shown on the web that he threatened the man with a gun just to get a hold of these items.
If Gunplay is found guilty on both charges, second degree aggravated assault with a firearm and armed robbery, he will be facing life sentence in prison.
