After 10 Years Jam Master Jay’s Murder Is Still Unsolved
After 10 years, Jam Master Jay‘s murder is still unsolved even though some suspects can be named.
Jay’s mother stated that karma will catch up with the killer and he’ll regret his decision on running away.
The New York Daily News reported recently that Curtis Scoon is the one that shot Jay after a dispute over a drug debt. However Curtis Scoon has maintained his innocence in the process.
In a recent interview with AllHipHop.com, Curtis explained that he was ‘taken aback’ by the allegations made. “I read the article in today’s New York Daily News and was taken aback by the persistent efforts to connect me to the tragic death of Jason Mizell,” he shared. “I addressed my non-involvement in this crime several months back with ScoonTV, I believe readers will find it quite informative.”
Ronald Washington is serving a sentence for armed robbery, and he admitted to take part in killing Jay. According to the reports, he admitted his guilt to his former girlfriend who then called the police to give them the information. Other sources have claimed that the former girlfriend’s story has changed ‘three or four times’ since it was reported.
The head detective on this case, Vincent Santangelo, states that no witnesses want to cooperate since they’re scared of being killed. The law enforcement is still in search for Jay’s killer.
Jay’s mother, Connie Mizell-Perry, expressed her feelings to the New York Daily News by stating, “One of these days, you’re going to think you have it made and someone is going to tap you on the shoulder and say, ‘Gotcha!’”
