Big Boi Releases Original Version of “Mama Told Me”

Big Boi lets his fans hear the original track of “Mama Told Me,” which features Little Dragon from his upcoming album. He didn’t want to keep the track away in a vault forever so he released it to the public.

Outkast’s Big Boi and Swedish Electro band Little Dragon have made a lot with their collaborations. They ran into label issues and Big Boi had to replace Little Dragon lead singer Yukimi. Big Boi didn’t want to keep the original version of the track in the vaults forever. Big Boi released the original version of “Mama Told Me,” which in his upcoming album, “Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors,” features Rowland.

He was a little disappointed that the original track didn’t make it into the album but that didn’t stop him from releasing it to his fans. Little Dragon joined Big Boi to perform the original version of the song on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
