Nas Gets Sued For $10 Million

Nas got sued for $10 million over Angolan concert kidnapping. His case is the subject of the federal court and it was filed on Friday.

December 2011, American concert promoter Patrick Allocco was kidnapped because Nas failed to show up for a New Year’s Eve concert. The promoter stated that Nas had already gotten the payment, but didn’t show up to perform.

Allocco was held ransom by Angolan promoters, because they wanted their money back ASAP. They never got their money and the promoter was released in February 2012.

TMZ recently reported that the new federal lawsuit, Allocco is suing Nas for $10 million. He also claimed that he suffered psychologically, physically and financially over the 50 days he was held as a captive.

Nas spoke about the issue on March 2012, he stated that he was being used as a puppet by the promoter. He also stated that the concert had significant planning issues.
