Tons of screaming fans showed up to the Southern Hospitality restaurant grand opening in Manhattan Wednesday. The idea behind the restaurant is to “bring a taste of Memphis to New Yorkâ€.
Justin Timberlake showed up, along with his co-owners and close friends Trace Alaya and Eytan Sugarman. Guests at the grand opening included his grandparents and mother, Jay-Z, actress Jessica Biel, Lance Bass, actress Sherri Saum, DJ Ani Quinn, Rev. Al Sharpton and others.

Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are currently working together on her new album. Justin and Madonna have been working with rapper/producer Timbaland at a London based studio. Currently there is no release date for the album Madonna rep stated, but reports state that its due to be released sometime in November.
Superstar Justin Timberlake celebrated Independence Day with more than 18,000 fans at his Futuresex/Loveshow concert in England on this past Wednesday on the London’s O2 Arena stage. The star took a champagne glass on stage with him and asked the crowd to celebrate the 4th of July by taking a moment and remembering this those who are fighting for our freedom.

According to reports, Justin Timberlake told friends during the Christmas holidays he’s done with Cameron at a party in Memphis held at Senses the Nightclub. Cameron, 34 and Justin has been allegedly dating since 2003. It has been stated that everyone thought the couple would have been spending Christmas together, but Justin instead spent time with his family in Memphis. As for Cameron Diaz, she was spotted being all so lonely at the Colorado ski resort Vail Mountain or was she?
As for Justin he was seen more than a few times with his former high school sweetheart 25 year-old real estate agent Veronica Finn while visiting family. Veronica Finn is known for being in a girl band with Britney Spears called Innosense. Hmmmm. Doesn’t this make you think about Britney Spears… “I’m not that innocent, Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.”
On December 31, 2006 Justin spent his New Year’s Eve at Kate Garry Hudson’s house party (Goldie Hawns daughter) in Los Angeles and reports state that the two flirted all night. The two were stated to have been spotted going up stairs together and Kate Hudson came back down in a different outfit.
As for Cameron and Justin, a few days after Christmas the two were seen together in Los Angeles and when reporters asked was it true they told reporters that they don’t comment on their personal lives.
In related news, Justin Timberlake will be starring in a new movie flick entitled Alpha Dog, a drama based on the life of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer who became one of the youngest men ever to be on the FBI’s most wanted list. The movie Alpha Dog will be in theaters January 12, 2007.
Memphis pop/hip-hop singer Justin Timberlake has been making his rounds including a recent performance of Sexyback for the Victory Secret Fashion Show which aired on Tuesday. Now Justin Timberlake has teamed up with The Recording Academy, CBS and Yahoo! to launch a contest in search of unsigned artists to compete for a chance to perform with him on stage at next year’s 49th Grammy Awards Ceremony in Feburary.
The winning entrant will be selected from a 60 second video clip which they submit. The contestants will be selected based on singing one of nine Grammy Award-winning songs hand-picked by Justin Timberlake himself. Only from December 14 – January 3 video submissions will be accepted. On January 8th, expert panelists will narrow the submissions to 12 talented singers, who will come to LA to meet Justin and vie for a post onstage with him. Then America will watch the remaining video submissions, vote and comment on them on Yahoo! Music. January 8 – 13, the selected will be narrowed down to 5. January 16 – February 3, round 2 voting will decide 3 finalists.
According to Yahoo! on February 4 during the Super Bowl weekend the three finalists will be announced where the final round voting will continue and the three finalists will attend the Grammy Awards Ceremony. Voting will continue until Feburary 11th the night of the Grammy Awards Ceremony where viewers will have the opportunity to vote on Yahoo! or by telephone. The winner will be announced during the Ceremony and he/she will then perform live with Justin Timberlake onstage.
The Grammy Awards Ceremony will air Sunday, February 11th, 8PM ET/PT on CBS.

There’s been word around that Janet & Justin may be getting together to solve their little spat.
Janet Jackson’s people are saying that she has been talking with Justin Timberlake’s people to appear together at a live show like the Grammys or an event like the Oscars as a publicity stunt.
Janet stated in a recent interview that the two hasn’t spoken since the Super Bowl incident (wardrobe malfunctioning revealing her nipple ring) on national TV.
Her people are hoping that the reunion will help with the boost in sales of both of their albums, while their spokespeople denies any knowing of a reunion.
On last Tuesday, Jackson celebrate the release her new album at her release party at the new club Room Service on East 21st Street. Sources say she showed up with a huge entourage, including Anna Nicole Smith’s expected baby daddy, photographer Larry Birkhead. However on Larry King live, Anna Nicole’s then lawyer now husband, Howard K. Stern announced that he is the father of her daughter.
According to sources during her release party Janet was very impressed with the moves of one stripper who goes by the name of Venus and wrote down her phone number, gave it to her bodyguard, who in turn gave it to Venus. Even though Larry Birkhead was there to take pictures, he wasn’t allowed into the strip club because of the rules.”
However, Janet Jackson’s rep stated that no number was exchanged and they where in there for all of the 30 seconds. Sources also say the rep also asked could the sponsor of Janet Jackson’s party be mentioned, LG phones.
Memphis native Mr. Sexyback himself, Justin Timberlake will be the host for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards. The singer is also slated to perform live at the ceremony, along with a number of other acts including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nelly Furtado and British band Muse.
Justin states that he’s very excited about being the host this year. He’s actually working on a number of ideas with MTV at the present time and has some new parts for the show. “We’re going to take over the city!”, says Justin.
Justin Timberlake is currently nominated for two awards, “Best Male” and “Best Pop Act”, and is currently bumping heads with Robbie Williams for the two awards.
The ceremony will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on November 2 and will be aired on MTV live.
