While enjoying the success of the release of his album “Tha Carter III,” Lil Wayne is preparing to shoot the video for “Got Money” on Monday in Los Angeles which features T-Pain. The video will be directed by Gil Green, who’s responsible for directing “Lollipop”.

Rolling Stone named Lil Wayne Best MC in their new Best of Rock 2008 Issue and they have done an editorial taking readers “Inside the strange mind and brilliant rhymes of the most exciting rapper of his generation” as the editorial put it.

In the lengthy editorial/interview with Lil Wayne, Rolling Stone wanted to know, how many tracks Wayne cut in recent years and Wayne responded “Somewhere in the thousands.”

According to Blender Magazine being Lil Wayne could be bad for your health. The rapper is stated to likely not make it pass the age of 44 which would be in 2026. Why?

Gerontologist Dr. David J. Demko: “Guns, drugs and a hot temper don’t mix. In order for Lil Wayne to increase his longevity, he needs to seriously concentrate on staying out of jail.”

Lil Wayne reportedly has stirred up conversation again in the press. Wayne supposedly walked out on a rescheduled High School concert in North Carolina on Sunday, October 21, 2007, because the attendance was around 1000 people, when the expected draw was around 3,000.

The first scheduled concert was to take place at Brogdon Hall, but the School Board objected to it after two lock downs occurred in a one-week period reports state, possibly due to gang violence. (more…)
