T.I. Gets Cover Of Vibe, Talks About Girlfriend, Former Xscape Singer, Tiny
In the August issue of Vibe, T.I. raves about his relationship with the mother of his son “King,” Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, former singer of music group Xscape. According to MTV, the rapper confirmed that he and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle had broken up in May, but reconciled.

TI. Gets In Scuffle With Ludacris’ Manager
After Ludacris and his manager Chaka Zulu were said to have arrived three hours into the “Make It Happen” luncheon held by music executive Kevin Liles of Warner Music Group, T.I. alledgely punched Zulu in the face after exchanging words with him. The Industry Event held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywod turned into a brief shoving and pushing battle witnesses state after T.I. aimed to punch Chaka Zulu.

Atlanta rapper T.I. tops BET nominations
Atlanta rapper T.I. has topped all other artists with eight nominations for the upcoming first-ever (BET) Black Entertainment Television Hip-Hop Awards.
Following behind T.I. in nominations was Busta Rhymes, who received six nods, Chamillionaire with his five nominations and Yung Joc and Lupe Fiasco with four selections a piece.
BET Networks exec Stephen Hill said that the Nov. 12 ceremony at Atlanta’s Fox Theater, will air three days later.
Denzel and T.I. To Star In American Gangster
Atlanta rapper T.I. will be starring along side Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe in a new movie titled “American Gangster”. T.I. will be the nephew of Frank Lucas played by Denzel Washington whereas Russell Crowe plays Detective Richie Roberts. Rapper Common also plays a unknown role in the film.
The film is about a drug kingpin in the 1970′s who smuggles heroin into Harlem by hiding the stash inside the coffins of American soldiers returning from Vietnam.
“Right now I’m learning everything I can about my character. I’m just there to soak things up,” T.I. said in a statement. “There’s a bunch of Academy Award-winners on this cast and I’m just there to learn. I’m in school.”
The movie was written by Steven Zaillian and is directed by Ridley Scott and will be released in 2007.
