A posthumous album by the late Texas rapper Pimp C., born Chad Lamont Butler, most known from the rap group UGK (Underground Kingz), is scheduled to hit stores come October 5th. The album entitled ‘The Naked Soul of Sweet Jones’ comes almost three years after Pimp C’s sudden death on December 4, 2007 after being found dead in his L.A. hotel room allegedly from an overdose on sizzurp.

Rapper Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, was indicted before a grand jury on Thursday in East Baton Rouge. The Louisiana hip hop artist was charged with first degree murder for allegedly being involved in a shooting which took place last October where one man, Terry Boyd, 35, died.

Louisiana rapper Lil’ Boosie has begun his 2 year sentence for violating house arrest after being convicted of a third offense for marijuana possession.

Torrence ‘Lil’ Boosie’ Hatch has begun serving out a 2 year sentence at the Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana. This comes after he violated house arrest by skipping out to do a couple shows resulting in his incarceration. “I had to do these two shows these last two days to feed my family,” says Boosie.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, 26, made an agreement with prosecutors and plead guilty to a third-offense marijuana possession charge stemming from 2008 in which he was found in possession of a bag of marijuana, another drug substance and a gun during a traffic stop, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com.

Trouble always seems to find Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie. Lil Boosie born Torrence Hatch, 26, who was accused of attempting to bribe a Baton Rouge police officer on last year (Oct 22) after being arrested for marijuana and weapons possession, claims that the accusations against him offering a bribe are false.
