After serving two months Floyd Mayweather has finally been released from the Clark County detention Center in Las Vegas, guess who was on hand to greet him?

50 Cent has long been good friends with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., so it was only fitting that he meet him when he was released from prison on August 3^rd.

Floyd was originally sentenced to jail time after being charged in a misdemeanor domestic battery case after a physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris. Mayweather Jr. was sentenced to three months, but only served two months in jail.

After his release he was greeted by friends and family. Always one to make a statement Floyd left in a blue Bentley with 50 Cent.

In related news, 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather have teamed up for a new venture called TMT Promotions. Their new company will take on established brands in the boxing world, to market, promote and produce high level boxing matches.

Justin Bieber recently joined 50 cent and Floyd Mayweather as part of the money entourage. While in attendance the singer seemed to have an unsuspecting fan.

This May 5^th will prove to be one of this years highly anticipated boxing fights as Floyd Mayweather squares off against Miguel Cotto in  “Ring Kings: Mayweather vs. Cotto.”  And who better to accompany Floyd to the ring than his long time friend 50 Cent.

Floyd Mayweather was supposed to turn himself in today and serve 90 days in a Las Vegas jail for putting his undefeated hands on his baby mama. However due to a recent turn of events, he will get a pass for now.

His attorney asked the judge to postpone the boxer’s turn in date so that Floyd may have time to to train for a big fight on May 5^th against an undertermined opponent at the MGM Grand.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. had his court hearing yesterday. And the judge did not go easy on him whatsoever! He was sentenced to serve 90 days in jail for beating up his baby mama in front of their kids.

Floyd was sentenced to 6 months in jail, 3 months of that sentence was suspended.  He was also credited for the 3 days for time he had already served.

Has Mayweather’s success gotten the best of him? I must say I was not at all surprised by Mayweathers actions on the HBO hit series 24/7: Mayweather vs Ortiz.

However, I was surprised to see 50 Cent stand up for Mayweather Sr. Rapper 50 Cent just might be able to have some positive influence on today’s anticipated boxing match when Mayweather faces Ortiz.

On the first episode of HBO’s series 24/7: Mayweather vs Ortiz, the topic turns to Floyd’s dad. Floyd Jr. had been in a heated argument with Sr. on the show and ended up throwing him out of the boxing gym during the show.
